For those of you who have not read this awesome book by George Bryan Polivka, the following blog might just be a spoiler for you. Read ahead at your own risk.
In this book, there is a lady, Jenta, and her husband. The dynamics between these two is very good and so is the description of the relationship between Jenta and her captor. There is a lot to this story, and a lot of plot twists.
One of the plot twists that I particularly liked was towards the end when the reader is led to beleive that Jenta’s husband and herself are dead and lost forever without seeing each other for a last time.
My emotions got the better of me while reading the scene in which they said goodbye and I liked having my suspicions confirmed about her husband.
I especially liked what happened at the end of the book with Mr. Delaney Smith…I won’t spoil it for you, but I can tell you that its not quite what I expected. If you are interested in this book, I would strongly urge you to go out and buy yourself a copy. It is a book that I plan on reading over again. I am sure I will not be as surprised with some situations in the book, but it is so well written that I want to be back in the story again. I think George Bryan Polivka is a great author and I will be spending some time looking for other titles by him at my library and local bookstores, I encourage you to do the same.
